The SLP-1000 from SuperLight Photonics is a portable wideband laser. Based on Patterned Alternating Dispersion™, it has a coherent and stable spectral output of 400 nm at -3 dB and 1500 nm at -20 dB in the near infrared band at a repetition rate of 100 MHz with pulse durations around 20 fs pulses. Weighing 900 g, the laser is battery operated, compact, and has a form factor of less than a liter. The laser can be used as a light source for industrial and medical imaging applications and spectroscopy.
