The QSFP OCM (optical channel monitor) from PhotonPath, in collaboration with Jabil, is a pluggable optical channel monitor on a quad small form factor pluggable (QSFP) form factor created as a solution for optical network operators. With an integrated optical tap, the OCM allows flexgrid channel powers as low as -40 dBm at its input. The product also allows, through its digital electrical interface, configuration of channel plans for measurement and polling of measurement data every 50 ms.
