The PLPT9 450LC_E from ams OSRAM is a high-power blue laser diode for applications such as stage lighting, specialty lighting, laser projection, medical, and industrial. Engineered with a wall-plug efficiency of 43%, the laser diode is available in a TO90 Metal Can^™ package featuring low thermal resistance. The PLPT9 450LC_E can deliver an optical power of 5.5 W at a 455-nm wavelength that includes 2-nm step binning.
