MILAN, July 18, 2024 — Specto Photonics Phase Delay FilterThe birefringence-induced phase delay (BIPD) filter from Specto Photonics is a compact filter meant for the suppression of strong disturbances caused by excitation light in Brillouin spectroscopy. The filter can operate across a broad range of VIS and NIR wavelengths with an operating range of 450 to 900 nm and a high rejection capability. The BIPD filter has an insertion loss of <1.5 dB, a free spectral range from 15 to 200 GHz, an extinction ratio of >45 dB, a working temperature range from 15 °C to 35 °C, and a form factor of 10 cm × 8 cm × 17 cm.
