The CLAS-2D/p is a portable version of WaveFront Sciences Inc.'s light- analysis system (CLAS-2D). Now the phase measurement capability of an interferometer can be transported to remote sites for beam characterization, laser testing or optical system testing. Manufacturers of lasers and optical-based systems can set up, align, maintain and test at their customers' locations, as well as their manufacturing facility. The system's sensitivity to vibration allows phase measurement in most environments.
