The MDMst from ACS Motion Control is a compact single-axis mini drive module meant for motion control applications, including autofocus in inspection machines, pick and place in electronics assembly machines, and biotech tabletop lab equipment. Leveraging servo control algorithms, its universal servo drive technology provides the system designer flexibility to control most types of motors or stages. The MDMst’s small form factor allows it to be mounted close to the axis it is controlling, reducing cabling, or fit in smaller systems where cabinet space is limited or nonexistent, like in tabletop equipment.
