The Xenon-Jade series of lenses from Jos. Schneider Optische Werke GmbH (Schneider-Kreuznach) is designed for 1.2-in. sensors.
The five lenses feature speeds of f/2.8 and focal lengths of 12, 16, 25, 35, and 50 mm. They are suitable for pixel sizes down to 2.4 µm and well suited for use in combination with Sony's IMX253, 420/425, and 530/540 sensors. The lenses offer open aperture imaging performance with either visible or IR illumination. Due to the precise and stable mechanics, the image position is maintained even in harsh industrial environments with high shock and vibration.
Applications include inspection and measurement tasks in 3D and 2D metrology, robotic vision, surface inspection, quality control, and classification from classic machine vision and automated optical inspection.
