New Focus Inc. has designed its top-actuated mirror mounts to allow easy access into compact spaces without blocking the beam. The cam design converts the vertical drive motion to tip and tilt the mirror; a curved top helps to identify these adjustments. The mounts are available in 1- and 1/2-in. versions with a thick frame and relieved base for stability.
