The MM-L400A from AMADA WELD TECH is a laser weld monitor that provides in situ judgment of weld quality by monitoring workpiece gaps, surface conditions, and focus accuracy. Able to detect IR, reflective, and visible light, the monitor can differentiate between good and bad welds through a comparison of data and uses the company’s MS-Viewer™ software for interfacing. The MM-L400A’s light-receiving unit can be integrated with the company’s focusing units or scanner heads and features a compact design and support for high-speed resolution with dedicated sensors.
