Optris is a leader in the field of non-contact temperature measurement with a full line of pyrometers and infrared cameras developed to support industrial automation and research applications.

To ensure the high quality, all product development and 90% of production executed at our headquarters in Berlin, Germany. Optris offices in the U.S (Portsmouth, NH) and in China provide local sales and technical support to customers in those regions.  Our products are value priced and typically much more affordable than competitive sensors and IR cameras.

Optris manufactures a wide variety of IR cameras with spectral response beginning at 500 nm for our CMOS based cameras and extending to the long wave region with microbolmeter detector technology.  Optris also makes IR cameras with infrared filters designed to protect the camera from laser induced detector damage or to address special applications with unique spectral requirements.  The entire camera line is compatible with our free PIX Connect software with robust image analysis tools and integral temperature based alarming routines.



The Optris pyrometer product line is even more extensive with single spot measurement capabilities ranging from -50°C to 3000°C.  The product line includes spectrally optimized pyrometers at 5.0 µm and 7.9 µm for glass and a full family of short wave sensors optimized for metal temperature measurement.  Special high speed sensors can deliver discreet temperature values at 300 microsecond intervals.  Ratio sensors deliver accurate measurements through an obscured optical path.
