The LDC-319 microprobe developed by Gigahertz-Optik Inc. measures 20 × 2.5 × 2.5 mm, enabling it to operate in remote limited-space applications. Used with the company’s single- or multichannel optometers, it can measure and monitor irradiance from 1 nW/cm2 to 3 W/cm2 (limited exposures) over a spectral range from 250 to 1100 nm. It is suitable for medical and photobiological applications and for general radiometry. Encased in a stainless steel housing, the probe includes a 2.3 × 5-mm Radin diffuser for cosine-corrected measurements.
