SAN DIEGO, April 29, 2020 — Internet of Things SensorThe Iris 8-in-1 Internet of Things (IoT) Sensor from L and M Instruments LLC monitors the spectrum between 350 and 800 nm, along with color temperature, illuminance circadian light, flicker, temperature, relative humidity, and motion.

The Iris allows all variables to be viewed within a single cloud-based dashboard. Real-time viewing and alerts provide flexible monitoring scenarios for several applications. The cloud application, with free options for up to three months of data storage, provides real-time monitoring, long-term trending, and intelligent alerts that allow time-windowing and human presence as part of the alert definition. The Iris IoT sensor platform can also be adapted to monitor UVC disinfection or visible light disinfection power levels, remotely and at scale from a cloud-based dashboard.

The system can run on either continuous wall power or more than three weeks of battery power, periodically collecting all environmental variables.
