Baumer Group has announced LX VisualApplets cameras with integrated image preprocessing, integrating global shutter CMOS sensors by CMOSIS and a GigE Vision-compliant interface.
The cameras are available in 4-, 12- and 20-MP resolutions, allowing image acquisition and processing with VisualApplets with up to 74 fps.
Users without extensive FPGA knowledge are able to realize individual tasks in image processing quickly and flexibly in the camera’s FPGA using the graphical programming environment VisualApplets software without the need for expensive and complex VHDL programming.
