The ADQ3-USB from Teledyne is a 12-bit digitizer featuring a 10 GS/s sampling rate and a 2 Gb/s sustained data transfer rate to a host PC. The ADQ3-USB is housed in a robust, fanless enclosure that supports side-by-side mounting of two units in a standard 1U 19” rack. The digitizer has onboard field programmable gate array (FPGA) capabilities for real-time signal processing. Large volumes of data up to 20 Gb/s can be reduced and transferred with no bottlenecks. The open FPGA design allows application-specific algorithms to be directly implemented on the digitizer, which reduces the need for post-processing. High-speed digitizers are used in analytical and sensing systems, such as swept-source optical coherence tomography, lidar, automated test equipment, and distributed fiber optic sensing platforms.
