Fiber Optic Rotary Joints
Orbex GroupRequest Info
AUSTIN, Texas, Jan. 8, 2024 — The 700 Series from Orbex Group are 1310- and 1550-nanometer fiber optic rotary joint (FORJ) assemblies. Constructed of materials including stainless steel, the FORJ assemblies feature an insertion loss of less than two decibels and a return loss greater than 30 decibels, making them ideal for high-speed digital transmissions over long distances. The FORJs can be implemented in areas with electromagnetic interference (EMI) due to their EMI immunity. The assemblies also allow for a fiber bend radius of over 25 mm, support a maximum operating speed of 2000 rpm, and are rated for both MIL-STD-810G impact force and MIL-STD-167-1A vibration protection.
