Marvell Technology announced its Nova™ 1.6 Tbps PAM4 electro-optics platform that enables 51.2 Tbps switching for cloud AI/ML and data center network applications. The platform is powered by a 200 Gbps/lambda optical DSP to double the optical bandwidth of current solutions, enabling 1.6 Tbps pluggable modules for scaling AI clusters. Additional features include 200 Gbps per channel line side transmitter interface, supporting a wide range of high-speed lasers, as well as 200 Gbps per channel line-side receiver with companion Marvell 112-Gbaud TIAs.
