Opto Power Corp. has designed the OPC-A100-795-RPPS diode laser OEM subsystem
specifically for optically pumping rubidium vapor. The system is also being
used for MRI-based physical and materials science research and in industrial
OEM applications. Featuring a wavelength of 795 nm, a spectral width of
¾4.5 nm and 120 W of CW pump power, it delivers over 100 W of CW
output power in a 2 x 2-in. beam. A transient-protected diode laser driver
delivers up to 40 A at 24 V, incorporating a flow interlock feature.
