STOCKHOLM, May 19, 2020 — Contactless Touch Sensor ModulesTouch Sensor Modules from Neonode Inc. are plug-and-play sensor modules that add contactless touch capabilities to hardware for rapid and iterative prototyping.

Enabling touch input on any surface and in air, the modules are particularly designed for rapid prototyping and deployment. They can reduce viral transmissions in hospitals and other public spaces by enabling contactless interaction with an invisible sheet of light that detects user inputs. This sheet of light can be placed at a removed distance from a button surface to enable users to select buttons without touching an actual surface. The sheet of light can also be aligned with holographic buttons to enable touch interaction with a projected image of a display.

The touch sensor module is available in various lengths to support interaction areas from 3 to 16 in. diagonally, and mounting directions of both flat (0°) and flipped (90°). Design freedom allows changes during design, even after a design freeze, and maintaining ease of deployment.
