BEAM SHAPING
MolTech GmbHRequest Info
Collimator and telescopic models of the πShaper beam-shaping system have been introduced by Molecular Technology GmbH. They work with lasers that output UV, visible and near-IR wavelengths as well as with CO2 lasers that emit in the 9.4- to 11-μm range, converting either a divergent (collimator version) or a collimated (telescopic version) Gaussian laser beam into a collimated flattop beam. They keep a uniform intensity profile over a large working distance, provide low divergence of the output beam, achieve high edge steepness and deliver almost 100% energy conversion. Because of their achromatic and compact design, the absence of internal focusing, and similar input and output beam sizes, they integrate easily into various systems. Applications include laser welding and marking, particle sizing and homogeneous illumination.
