BRATISLAVA, Slovakia, June 26, 2023 — Photoneo’s Alpha 3D Scanner is an industrial-grade, carbon body scanner that supports vision tasks in logistics. The scanner uses structured light projection to achieve a large scanning volume for medium-size and large objects up to 4 meters. The scanner is suited to scanning objects of a simple shape, such as boxes in a factory environment. Scanning occurs in less than one-half second, and at 1.5-M resolution and .5-mm accuracy. Fast point cloud acquisition times, as well as both Power over Ethernet and 24-V powering are supported.
