The Ensenso C from IDS Imaging Development Systems is a stereo vision camera that captures 3D point clouds and 2D color images to create more realistic looking 3D images. With a baseline of 240 mm, the camera has a Z-accuracy of 0.2 mm at 2 m object distance. Also, deviations at 30 cm and 10 °C change less than 0.075 mm when it comes to depth values, and a diffused white light LED supports the 2D color imaging in applications with changing ambient light conditions. The camera provides solutions for industrial requirements from bin picking to quality control.
