KANATA, Ontario, Canada, May 21 -- GSI Lumonics Inc. said that Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. has placed an order for the M430 WaferRepair System. The system will be installed in the second quarter at Samsung's Kiheung facility in Korea. The M430 meets leading-edge technology requirements for laser processing of very-small-pitch fuse structures, enabling DRAM, SRAM and System-on-a-Chip suppliers to implement ambitious die-shrink programs.
