Salience Labs Appoints Chief Product Officer: People in the News: 04/26/23

OXFORD, England, April 26, 2023 — Silicon photonics company Salience Labs appointed Chris Porthouse chief product officer (CPO). Porthouse most recently served as CPO for Imagination Technologies, and he previously served as general manager and vice president at Arm. At Salience Labs, Porthouse will lead product strategy and product-market fit as the business scales following its 2022 $11.5 million seed funding round.

HAYWARD, Calif. — Delphon, a provider of engineered polymer and adhesive products for the semiconductor, photonics, medical, and electronics industries, appointed Pradeep Mishra vice president of manufacturing operations. Mishra previously served as senior director of hardware operations for Berkeley Lights. Mishra previously held the role of director of manufacturing engineering at Delphon.

PISCATAWAY, N.J. — The Zhaga Consortium, a global lighting industry organization, appointed Heinrich Thye secretary general. Thye succeeds Dee Denteneer, who has served as secretary general of the organization for the past seven years. Thye previously served as managing director of IDEE Europe, an international electrical wholesale group and partner of the lighting industry.
