CAMAS, Wash., Aug. 28 -- Semiconductor Equipment and Materials
International (SEMI), will host its third Pacific Northwest Workforce
Development Institute to stimulate the workforce of tomorrow into
thinking about semiconductor science and careers in the industry.
SEMI's Workforce Development Institute was created to build interest and
raise awareness of Pacific Northwest semiconductor career possibilities.
"With this program we hope to achieve a substantial and longer-lasting
impact on the students of these teachers, keeping the semiconductor industry
in the minds of young people", says Terry Burke SEMI Regional Director.
