Tokyo-based Rigaku Corp. has created Applied Rigaku Technologies Inc., a subsidiary focusing on energy-dispersive x-ray fluorescence (EDXRF) and related elemental analysis technologies. Located in Austin, Texas, the new company will help develop x-ray-based analytical instruments and technologies for metrology use. The EDXRF Center of Excellence occupies a newly built 20,000-sq-ft facility.Read full article
