Tamron Co. Ltd. of Saitama, Japan, and New Scale Technologies Inc. of Victor, N.Y., have signed a license agreement in which the Japanese manufacturer will use the latter company’s Squiggle piezoelectric motors in several of its optical imaging assemblies, including digital still cameras, camcorders and mobile phone cameras.
