Scott Keeney, president and CEO of nLight Corp., a Vancouver manufacturer of high-power semiconductor diode lasers, received the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year 2006 Award in the technology category for the Pacific Northwest at a gala held Friday at the Westin Bellevue. Keeney is now eligible for consideration for the national Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year 2006 program. Recipients in several national categories and the overall national award recipient will be announced at an annual awards gala on Nov. 18 in Palm Springs, Calif. The year's country winners from around the world gather in Monte Carlo, Monaco, to be inducted into the World Entrepreneur Of The Year Academy and to vie for the title of World Entrepreneur Of The Year.
