Sandia Lab Qualifies for Matheson MOCVD Development

BASKING RIDGE, N.J., May 24, 2016 — Gas provider Matheson and its parent company Taiyo Nippon Sanso Corp. has announced that Sandia National Laboratory has qualified and accepted the SR-4000HT commercial grade, SaN metal organic chemical vapor deposition (MOCVD) system for its continued compound semiconductor device development work. The company cites the qualification and acceptance of the SR-4000HT MOCVD system as a significant step forward for the entire MOCVD market focused on AlGaN and AlN technology.
