Quantum dot product company QD Vision Inc. received a $1.38 million contract from the Department of Defense for specialized devices based on electroluminescent quantum dots. The 12-month program will result in the development of prototype devices that can be tested under real-world conditions and, ultimately, be employed by US forces. “This award demonstrates QD Vision’s leadership in emissive materials and devices, and combines our strengths in inorganic chemistry, thin-film deposition and electrical device physics,” said Jason Carlson, president and CEO.
