Photonic technology developer Ophir Photonics has received ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation for its calibration laboratory in Jerusalem. ISO/IEC 17025 is given to calibration laboratories that have achieved the highest standards of quality, administration, and technical operations. The scope of the accreditation covers Ophir's photodiode, pyroelectric, and thermopile laser power and energy sensors, as well as its power and energy displays and PC interfaces. Ophir's Jerusalem calibration laboratory joins its North Logan, Utah, laboratory in the accreditation, which improves the validity of test methods and provides the best traceability of measurements and calibrations to national standards.
