Quebec City-based Obzerv Technologies Inc. has announced a contract with Defense Research and Development Canada as part of a tactical surveillance project. Under the contract, which is valued at $650,000 (CAD), Obzerv will develop and integrate an active-range-gated camera into an L-3 Wescam MX-20 multispectral imaging turret. The company’s Dalis laser source illuminator enables night-vision cameras to enhance their long-range identification ability.
