Northrop Grumman Corp. of Los Angeles has been awarded a $17.5 million contract by the US Army to provide more than 500 handheld laser target locators to assist soldiers in identifying enemy targets. The Mark VII can be used for surveillance and for targeting enemy positions for air or artillery engagement.
