Resolve Optics’ motorized lens is capable of producing both clear daytime and night vision images and can be used for surveillance applications. Using a combination of motors and photo interrupters, the lens can be quickly driven from one focus position to the other, switching between wavebands meant for day and nighttime image capturing. The lens also includes a motorized iris which allows for remote adjustment of the lens’ aperture to compensate for different lighting conditions depending on the time of day.
