New Look at Bioactive Metal Complexes

BOCHUM, Germany, April 29, 2010 — Scientists at Ruhr University Bochum have accurately determined the location of metal complexes within living cancer cells using Raman microscopy. The technique provides new insights into the mechanism of action of metal-containing drugs, which may have the capacity to treat cancer as well as other diseases.
