NanoOpto and Moxtek Form Partnership

NanoOpto Corp. of Somerset, N.J., and Moxtek Inc. of Orem, Utah, have partnered to develop nanotechnology-based optical products for display and telecommunications applications. Among the products the companies expect to produce are polarizers and optical retarders, some of which will incorporate thin-film technology. Each company will retain ownership of its existing patents and intellectual property.Read full article

    An SI prefix meaning one billionth (10-9). Nano can also be used to indicate the study of atoms, molecules and other structures and particles on the nanometer scale.
