Microvision Nabs $8.5M Order for PicoP

REDMOND, Wash., April 8, 2010 — Microvision announced that it has received an $8.5 million purchase order for its new ultraminiature PicoP laser projection display engine from a consumer electronics customer. The OEM plans to embed the engine in a high-end mobile media player for release in late 2010 and will announce its launch at that time.
