TABY, Sweden, Aug. 9 -- Micronic Laser Systems has received an order for two LRS11000 TFT systems from a major Japanese customer. The first system will be installed during the fourth quarter of this year, while the second installation is scheduled for the first half of 2002. The LRS11000 is a high-throughput laser pattern generator for producing high-quality TFT-LCD photomasks. With multiple exposure beams, HyperChannel data path, AutoCalibration and a host of other technologies, the Micronic LRS11000 is designed for cost-effective photomask production.
