Mesophotonics Ltd. of Southampton, UK, has entered into a marketing partnership with Horiba Jobin Yvon of Edison, N.J. Under the agreement, the companies expect to develop and market surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy systems based on the substrate Klarite. The technology holds promise for trace-level detection applications for drug discovery and production, forensics, security and medical diagnosis.
