TORONTO, Sept. 13 -- MEDX Health Corp. received clearance from the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to market its MedX LCS090 Laser Series product in the US. Its MedX Series 1000 was approved by the FDA in July, and MedX said it is in the process of filing applications for other products in the next few months. MedX makes phototherapy medical devices for pain relief and wound healing, and is developing phototherapy devices for cosmetic and dental applications. MedX is based in Mississauga, Ontario, and has an office in Hartwell, Ga.
