Lightpoint, University of Arizona Enter into Cancer Imaging Agreement

CHESHAM, England, May 23, 2016 — Medical device developer Lightpoint Medical Ltd. has entered into an exclusive global license agreement with the University of Arizona to develop molecular imaging technology. Beta Emission Tomography, developed by professor Harrison Barrett, student Yijun Ding and Dr. Luca Caucci at the University of Arizona Center for Gamma Ray Imaging, enables the miniaturization of a positron emission tomography (PET) scanner for the operating room.
