Intevac receives contracts from US Army

SANTA CLARA, Calif. — Thin-film deposition and sensor developer Intevac Inc. has received two separate contracts for production with the U.S. Army. The first contract is for $6.9 million for the production of night vision cameras for the U.S. Army’s Apache Helicopter’s Pilot Night Vision Sensor (PNVS) program. The contract for 144 cameras from the Apache Project Management Office in Huntsville, Ala., will provide cameras for new Apache Airframe builds, foreign military orders, and spares.
