ILX Lightwave Will Donate $100,000 in Equipment

ILX Lightwave of Bozeman, Mont., plans to donate $100,000 in equipment to colleges and universities within the next five years. It will award $10,000 worth of equipment biannually, selecting the recipients based on their photonics educational program and the relevance of the proposed research to laser diode technology and applications. Through its University Donation Program, the company will help the institutions create programs in which scientists and engineers can advance photonics research and development.Read full article
