II-VI and LITE-ON Partner on Lidar

II-VI Inc. has signed a strategic partnership agreement with optoelectronic specialist LITE-ON Technology Corp. The partnership will enable the volume manufacturing and commercialization of packaged semiconductor lasers for lidar systems in order to meet high demand for automotive, commercial, and industrial applications.
