Hyphenated Systems LLC, a provider of hybrid microscopy products for 3-D imaging and metrology in micro- and nanotechnology, will partner in a project with Purdue University’s Microfluidics Laboratory in West Lafayette, Ind. The laboratory will use the Burlingame, Calif., company’s 3Dmap (microfluidics analysis platform) to characterize structure in advanced microfluidic devices and to develop techniques to characterize fluid flow through these structures. The platform uses confocal microscopy to visualize and measure 3-D structure with submicron resolution. It is expected to enhance the laboratory’s research and commercial capabilities and to provide information to Hyphenated Systems concerning the needs of the industry.
