G&H Joins Philumina in HSI Expansion

Gooch & Housego and PhiLumina LLC have entered into a collaborative agreement expanding capabilities and offerings for hyperspectral imaging (HSI) applications. The agreement enables PhiLumina to integrate its HSI scanning products and software into G&H’s Life Science and Instrumentation division to further develop and enhance spectral imaging technology based on high-speed acousto-optic tunable filters (AOTFs). The companies expect this will expand their respective client bases, while allowing G&H to offer PhiLumina’s modular and customizable spectral...Read full article

    hyperspectral imaging
Hyperspectral imaging is an advanced imaging technique that captures and processes information from across the electromagnetic spectrum. Unlike traditional imaging systems that record only a few spectral bands (such as red, green, and blue in visible light), hyperspectral imaging collects data in numerous contiguous bands, covering a wide range of wavelengths. This extended spectral coverage enables detailed analysis and characterization of materials based on their spectral signatures. Key...
