GE Becomes Shareholder in Sofradir Subsidiary

Based in Chatenay-Malabry, France, Sofradir, a manufacturer of cooled IR detectors for military, space and commercial applications, has announced that General Electric (GE) Co., based in Fairfield, Conn., will become a minority shareholder in its subsidiary Ulis. Located in Veurey-Voroize, France, the subsidiary produces uncooled IR detectors mainly for commercial applications.
