FLIR Nabs $13.5M Navy Order

PORTLAND, Ore., April 1, 2010 – Flir Systems Inc. announced that it has received a $13.5 million order from the Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC), Crane Division for its Brite Star II multisensor target designation systems. The order was pursuant to a previously announced $125.3 million, five-year requirements contract. The systems delivered under the order will be used by the US Marine Corps and US Navy for various missions. Work on the order will be performed at the company’s facilities in Wilsonville, Ore.
