European Group for Crystalline Solar Cells Established

BERLIN, March 26, 2010 – At the 4th Photovoltaic Fab Managers Forum, Semi PV Group Europe, a special interest group that serves the photovoltaic (PV) supply chain, announced the formation of a new European group for crystalline solar cells. The founding group, consisting of eight crystalline solar cell manufacturers—Q-Cells, Deutsche Cell, Bosch Solar Energy, Schott Solar, Sovello, Sunways, SolarWatt/Systaic Cells and Solland—is working together to address the technology challenges facing the PV industry.
