BinOptics Corp., an Ithaca, N.Y.-based supplier of microphotonic devices for optical systems, has appointed Harvey Spreckman as vice president of sales, responsible for global sales of integrated laser products. Spreckman is a co-founder of Tsunami Optics, which was acquired by Stratos Lightwave in 2002.
