Avantes Eclipse Team Preps for Solar Event

APELDOORN, Netherlands, Aug. 17, 2017 — On Monday, Aug. 21, engineers from Netherlands-based Avantes will be in Casper, Wyo., to witness the total solar eclipse from its incident path, and support researchers and scientists using the company's equipment in experiments observing the sun’s corona and magnetosphere. Scientists from the National Science Foundation (NSF), NASA, and the National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR) will be conducting experiments in Casper from a ground-based observation post along the North American Eclipse 2017 path of totality.
